What we collect
- Who you are. When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account id, email address, name and profile picture. Accounts arriving from Streamline carry an identifier and handle from there. Older wallet sign-ins store a wallet address.
- What you bring in. The videos you upload or import by link, and the audio extracted from them.
- What we derive. Transcripts with word timings, detected speakers, scored moments, captions, titles, translations and the clips you render.
- How you use it. A credit ledger recording every charge and grant, and processing logs used to diagnose failures.
How we use it
Only to run the product for you: transcribing your audio, finding and scoring moments, writing captions and titles, and rendering your clips. We do not sell your data, we do not use your footage, audio or transcripts to train models, and we do not share them with other users.
Who else processes it
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage and databases (US East). Also speech-to-text, and text-to-speech when you generate a voice-over.
- Anthropic — the models that read your transcript to find moments, write captions, titles, hooks and translations. Your transcript text is sent; your video is not.
- Deepgram and Groq — alternative speech-to-text, used for certain languages and to re-run a passage that came back garbled.
- Streamline Intelligence — a sibling product that supplies measured performance data about short-form video in general. We send it the niche a video belongs to, never your transcript, your video or your identity.
Where it lives and who can reach it
Your files are held in private storage in AWS US East and are never publicly listable. The product reaches them through short-lived signed links that expire, and only your account can ask for one. Sharing a byte creates an unlisted public link that anyone holding it can view until you revoke it — that is the one case where content leaves your account by design.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. We do not currently expire or auto-delete stored video, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a retention limit we do not enforce. If that changes we will say so here and give notice before anything is removed.
Deleting your data
- Deleting a project removes its video, audio, transcript, candidates and rendered clips.
- Settings → Account → Delete all removes every project in your workspace.
- Email us to remove your account entirely, including your sign-in identity and credit history.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in for up to 7 days. A second, short-lived cookie exists only during a Google sign-in and is discarded the moment it completes. Both are strictly necessary. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no analytics pixels.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time — most of it directly in the product, and the rest by asking us. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.
